Canva's Visual Suite 2.0 Brings New AI Tools and Smart Features

At the Canva Create event, Visual Suite 2.0 was introduced.
New AI-powered tools like Canva AI, Canva Sheets, and Canva Code were added.
The rollout date for these features was not shared.
It is still unknown if free users will get access to everything.

The company called it the biggest launch since 2012.
A focus was placed on creativity, communication, and teamwork.

A new feature called Visual Suite in One Design was introduced.
Slides of different sizes can now be used in one project.
Before, only same-sized slides could be added.
Now, documents, slides, and social media posts can be mixed easily.
This aims to remove the need for many different tools.

Canva Sheets was added to make working with data easier.
Data and text can be shown together using AI.
Magic Insights and Data Connectors were also included.
Data from HubSpot, Statista, and Google Analytics can now be imported.
Common spreadsheet formulas are supported too.

Magic Charts were introduced to turn numbers into visuals quickly.
Users can make reports, moving visuals, and infographics with one tap.
New templates were added for easy choices.

Canva AI, a voice-enabled assistant, was also launched.
It will help users create text, slides, and images using voice commands.
Photo edits and design resizing can be done by simply speaking.

Canva Code was added to help with app and web design.
Low-code and no-code options were provided.
Users can turn prompts into working designs easily.

Canva Photo Editor got new AI features too.
Parts of an image can now be clicked and edited easily.
Backgrounds can be changed, and unwanted objects can be removed.

Steps for safety were taken while building these tools.
Input checks, safety filters, and bias controls were added.
Clear user choices on how data is used were also given.
