Figma brings AI tools to rival Canva, WordPress, and Adobe

Four new tools—Sites, Make, Buzz, and Draw—were added to help designers complete work inside Figma without using other software.

🟣 Introduction

At Figma Config 2025, new AI tools were launched to help designers do all their work in one place. These tools—Sites, Make, Buzz, and Draw—were introduced to reduce the need for switching between different apps. With these updates, full design projects can now be completed inside Figma, from concept to launch.

🟩 Figma Sites: Easy Website Building

A tool called Figma Sites was added for building websites. It connects with Figma Design. Sites has blocks, layouts, and presets.

AI helps build animations. For example, a user may type, “Make text fall like a feather,” and the effect will be added.

AI coding will be added soon. A CMS for handling site content will also be released later.

🟧 Figma Make: AI That Writes Code

Figma Make helps write code using prompts. It uses Claude 3.7, an AI model from Anthropic.

Designers can describe apps or use current designs. For example, a music app with a spinning disc was made using this tool.

Figma Make is now in beta for full users. It may work with more tools soon.

🟨 Figma Buzz: Tools for Brand Marketing

Figma Buzz is for marketing. It helps make posts, ads, and emails.

Designers can create templates for teams. Buzz also uses AI to make or edit images. Many images can be made at once from spreadsheets.

🟦 Figma Draw: Simple Image Design

Figma Draw is like a basic Adobe Illustrator.

Users can make art, logos, and textures. Draw is found inside other Figma tools too, like Sites, Slides, and Buzz.

This gives Figma a chance to compete with Adobe, especially after Adobe failed to buy Figma.

🟢 Summary

Figma’s AI update helps users do more in one place. These tools aim to replace the need for apps like Adobe or WordPress.
