OpenAI Academy Expands to Teach AI Skills to Everyone

A free AI learning hub has been built by OpenAI to help people learn AI. The goal is to make AI skills easy to learn and open to all.

Simple online tools and guides will be shared. These will help people use AI well. Both online and in-person events will be offered.

At first, the Academy was built for tech experts. Now, it is being made for everyone. Teachers, students, workers, and business owners will be included.

More people are learning AI, and it helps create jobs and growth.

Working With Others

A large library of free lessons has been added. Some were made by groups like Common Sense Media.

More lessons and events will be added soon. Colleges like Georgia Tech and Miami Dade College will help. So will groups like Goodwill and CareerVillage.

“AI skills help people do well. We want all students to enjoy learning AI,” said Pedro Santos Acosta of Miami Dade College.

OpenAI is also working with Goodwill in Pennsylvania. AI training will help staff guide job seekers better. Job seekers will get help with resumes and interviews.

“AI can help people get jobs,” said Edward Lada, Jr., CEO of Goodwill Keystone. “We want to give people the tools they need to grow.”

What Comes Next

More people want to learn AI every day. So, more tools, languages, and events will be added.

OpenAI will also work with governments. They will help more people gain AI skills and access better jobs.
